About

One Harbour: 2SLGBTQIA+ Stories of Halifax and Dartmouth (working title) is an interview-style documentary series focused on telling underrepresented and relevant stories and history from within the rainbow community, by the rainbow community.

Vision

Eight to ten “chaptered” videos that aim to tell a diverse story of the rainbow community in Halifax & Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. Each video seeks to explore a different subculture or self-identified 2SLGBTQIA+ “letter”, which creates a cohesive narrative from the community.

Audience

While filmed in English, each episode will be translated into French, with subtitles provided. All final video edits will be released publicly online.

As these stories are considered an underrepresented part of Canadian Heritage, when possible, these stories will exist for consumption without any barriers of paywalls or subscription fees.
