Emancipation Day Social with Senator Wanda Bernard
Join us on Saturday August 3rd to celebrate Emancipation Day. The Emancipation Day Social will take place at the Christ Church Parish Hall on 61 Dundas Street in Dartmouth, in their Upper Hall on August 3rd from 2PM to 4PM. This free event will include an address from Senator Wanda Bernard, a temporary pop-up exhibit featuring items related to Black History in Dartmouth from the DHM collection, music, and strawberry themed treats and drinks.
Thank you to Christ Church for providing a venue to host this event, and to our local community partners for donating supplies and treats to share with guests.
