Mother’s Day Charity Tea
Join us this May 7th for an old fashioned tea just in time for Mother’s Day at gorgeous Evergreen! Tickets are on sale HERE, with half of all proceeds going to Adsum for Women and Children. Treat your mothers (or other beloved caregivers!) to a lovely tea in our old charming Victorian manor, all while supporting a local charity helping women and children. Refresh yourselves with some tea or lemonade complete in our darling porcelain teawares, and prepare to feel your fanciest biting into locally made scones with fresh jams and whipped cream. After enjoying this lovely snack, enjoy the blooming gardens with a cuppa in our sun porch – or take a walk down to enjoy the fresh air directly! Either way, the views are sure to be spectacular!
Given the small spaces available in our dear Evergreen House, we are holding two sittings; one at 11am and one at 2pm. Each will be for two hours, though there is no time limit on enjoying the gardens.
Tickets will be sold by table – each seating up to four persons comfortably. If you would like to bring a larger party than four, we suggest purchasing a second table.
Please note that Evergreen is unfortunately NOT an accessible house for wheelchairs may be challenging for others with limited mobility. There are four (4) steps leading up to the front door, and many small bumps and level changes between rooms. The guest bathroom is a half-bath and very small. The backyard has a decent slope which may be challenging for some. We do have a new staircase leading down the hill to the lower gardens in hopes of aiding some, but it will not be accessible to all. We apologize to those community members excluded by this inaccessibility. We promise to continue exploring ways to make sure our museum and events are able to be enjoyed by all.
